The Kaufman County Tea Party hosted its fall fundraiser Saturday night at the First Baptist Church of Forney. The theme for the evening was to honor the people who work in law enforcement and put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe.
A special “thank you!” to Pastor Rafael Cruz, Republican candidate for Rail Road Commissioner Wayne Christian, and especially J. Christian Adams, who traveled all the way from Virginia to be our keynote speaker, for your participation in our program.
Retiring Kaufman County Sheriff David Byrnes and Forney Chief Rick Barnes were recognized and honored for their lifelong service to their communities.
The crowd dined on delicious Dickie’s Barbecue. We had a great turnout and it was a wonderful evening. We are so grateful to each and every one who came out to support us.
